Welcome to lotus pharmacies, this mobile app (or “Website”) is owned and operated by Lotus for Pharmacies Management Company (“Lotus Pharmacies”), a Joint Stock Company, incorporated and existing under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. This page tells you the legal terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) under which any of the materials listed on this website is presented to you.
By accessing, browsing, using or registering on our Website or Mobile app, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. Please check this page regularly to determine whether our Terms & Conditions have been updated – any new terms will automatically be effective when they are published on this Website.
We reserve the right to:
- Amend our Terms & Conditions;
- Refuse any user access to our platforms (mobile app & website);
- Terminate user accounts;
- Modify or withdraw (temporarily or permanently) this Website without notice; or
By accessing our platforms (mobile app & website), you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
Those who choose to access this Website from outside the Arab Republic of Egypt are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Modifications
Lotus Pharmacies Company may revise these terms of service for its online platforms at any time without notice. By using this online platforms you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
How ordering from Lotus works
These are the rules this website and the Lotus app enforce at checkout. They sit alongside the published Terms & Conditions above and do not replace them.
Ordering and delivery
Your order is dispensed by the Lotus branch closest to your delivery address and delivered from there, typically within 60 minutes. The delivery fee and the minimum order value depend on your delivery area and are shown before you confirm.
You may have up to 5 active orders at a time. A prescription order that is still waiting for a pharmacist to review it does not count towards those 5. Every time an order is delivered or cancelled its place frees up, and you can place another.
Availability is per branch: an item shown online can be out of stock at the branch that serves you, and checkout will tell you before any order is placed.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Egyptian pounds. The total you see at checkout (items, delivery and any discount) is the binding one; if anything changes between seeing it and confirming, you are shown the new total rather than charged it. Payment is collected on delivery, in cash or by card. If a price is obviously wrong due to an error, we may cancel the order and tell you why.
Prescriptions
Prescription medicines are dispensed only after a Lotus pharmacist reviews your prescription. The pharmacist may refuse a prescription, ask for more information, or contact you about substitutions or dosage, and no prescription item is dispensed without that review. Prescription images are health data and are handled as our Privacy Policy describes.
Cancellation and returns
You can cancel an order from its order page until a pharmacist confirms it and starts preparing it. After that, a pharmacist on WhatsApp can help.
Returns and exchanges are covered by our 14-day return policy.
The service, honestly
We work to keep the site, the app and the catalogue accurate and available, but a pharmacy's stock and prices move all day, and we cannot promise the service is uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing on this site is medical advice: always read the product leaflet and consult your physician or pharmacist before use.
