Zyrtec 1% Cetirizine Dihydrochloride Oral Drops contain an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms. It works by blocking a natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. This oral drop formulation is suitable for children and provides relief from various allergic conditions.

Indications & Uses

• Allergic Rhinitis: Relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, and watery eyes.
• Chronic Urticaria: Management of uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria, such as itching and hives.

Dosage & Administration

• Usual Dosage: For children 6-12 months, 2.5 mg (5 drops) once daily. For children 12-24 months, 2.5 mg (5 drops) once daily, increasing to a maximum of 5 mg (10 drops) daily in two divided doses if needed. For children 2-5 years, 2.5 mg (5 drops) once daily, increasing to a maximum of 5 mg (10 drops) daily in two divided doses or as a single dose if needed. For children 6 years and older, 5-10 mg (10-20 drops) once daily.
• Method of Administration: Administer orally using the provided dropper. Can be taken with or without food.
