Vonoprazan is a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) used to treat acid-related disorders of the stomach and esophagus. - Gastric Ulcers: Treatment of gastric ulcers.
- Duodenal Ulcers: Treatment of duodenal ulcers.
- Reflux Esophagitis: Treatment and prevention of recurrence of reflux esophagitis.
- H. pylori Eradication: As part of a combination therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication.
- Usual Dosage: For gastric ulcers, typically 20 mg once daily. For H. pylori eradication, 20 mg twice daily in combination with antibiotics.
- Method of Administration: Oral tablets, usually taken once daily before breakfast. Swallow whole with water.
