Tresiba FlexTouch is a long-acting insulin used to improve blood sugar control in adults and children with diabetes mellitus. It provides a steady, continuous release of insulin over 24 hours or more, helping to manage blood glucose levels effectively.

Indications & Uses

• Type 1 Diabetes: Management of high blood sugar levels in individuals with insulin-dependent diabetes.
• Type 2 Diabetes: Control of blood sugar in individuals whose bodies do not produce enough insulin or do not use insulin properly.

Dosage & Administration

• Usual Dosage: Dosage is individualized based on blood glucose levels and healthcare provider's recommendations. Administered once daily at any time of day, but at the same time each day.
• Method of Administration: Subcutaneous injection using the FlexTouch pre-filled pen. Rotate injection sites within the same region (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm) to reduce the risk of lipodystrophy.
