Nasacort Aq is a corticosteroid nasal spray used to relieve symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Indications & Uses

• Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis: Relief of nasal symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching, and congestion caused by seasonal allergies.
• Perennial Allergic Rhinitis: Management of chronic nasal symptoms due to year-round allergens like dust mites, pet dander, and mold.

Dosage & Administration

• Usual Dosage: For adults and children 12 years and older, the typical starting dose is two sprays in each nostril once daily. Once symptoms are controlled, the dose may be reduced to one spray in each nostril once daily. For children 6 to 11 years, the recommended dose is one spray in each nostril once daily.
• Method of Administration: Shake the bottle gently before each use. Prime the pump before the first use or if it has not been used for several days by spraying into the air until a fine mist appears. Tilt the head slightly forward, insert the nozzle into one nostril, and close the other nostril with a finger. Spray while inhaling gently through the nose. Repeat for the other nostril. Avoid spraying into the eyes or directly onto the nasal septum.
